How do I customize the 'CleanPanel' text in the header?

Customizing the 'CleanPanel' text in the header is a simple out with the old, in with the new, procedure. See below for step-by-step instructions.

1) First, log in to your server with root using your favorite SCP client. You can also use an SSH client and built in text editor instead, such as PuTTY and vi. However, we find it easier to use SCP. This guide contains instructions for those using SCP, only.

2) Next, navigate to /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/CleanPanel/branding

3) Download stdmheader.html and then open it in your favorite text editor. At this point it will be smart to take the time to make a backup of this file because you will be editing it.

4) Once you have stdmheader.html open, go to line 43 (ctrl + G). You should see the following line of HTML code:

<h2>CleanPanel</h2>

Just simply delete the the word 'CleanPanel' and then replace it with your desired text. Afterwards, reupload stdmheader.html back to your server. You're done!

If you have resellers who want their header customized too, you can create a new branding theme and then edit stdmheader.html just like above using cPanel's built in Branding Editor tool.
